Sermons seek to dive meaningfully into one passage.  We will see the brokenness in the passage and consider how we are broken in similar ways.  We will see the hope offered by God in each passage and find encouragement in God's saving actions and love for us.   Each week we have a creative children's message to help children warm to the topic of the sermon.  Children answer questions in the bulletin and save them to trade in for prizes in our "store".

"A City Responds"

Reflection Questions:

  • Who do I think of as an “enemy”?

How can I respond to them with empathy, love and witness, knowing it is Satan who is the enemy.

  • Where are the dark places of injustice around me?

How might God be calling me to pray and “go”

  • How am I personally involved in evil and violence?

Where do I hear the Lord calling me to be “turned over” and repent in “fasting and sackcloth”?
